Today we’re going to be learning how to

make an amortization schedule in Excel

fast and easy and we’re going to get

right into it, here we go. If you are more

interested in downloading the

spreadsheet you can just go to my Etsy

Shop https://etsy.me/35hheEk and you can find a link to that in

the description below.

So open up Excel and we are going to get right into it.

Here we go.

You’re going to find on my template a

section for the loan administrator

information. It’s easy for not only you

to remember where everything is located

but also if other people need to come in

behind you and find where your website

login information is or family members

who need to also have this information

they can do that as well.

Right below that you’re going to see

the information for your loan detail.

We have 250,000 dollars hard-coded in here.

This isn’t a formula this is just

pulling it in as you type it and then

you can type in your annual interest

rate. You type in your loan period in

years and so this is for a 15-year

mortgage. If it was 30-year you would

type in 30 right here

or if it was a car loan it might be five

years and you would just type in five.

So we’re going to keep this at 15

and then we’re going to type in the

number of payments per year and so

that’s going to always be 12, typically .

You can also put in your origination date

and that origination date is just going

to be the date that you received the

loan. A lot of this detail is going to be

pulling down into our schedule.

This first column is for the month or

you can also refer to it as the period.

We got one two three four five and it’s just

going to be going down for each period.

And then we’ve got the date. This date is

pulling in from cell C11 which is our

origination date.

And then we’re going to be taking

a formula for the date and it’s going to

be able to take this B16 it’s going to take

this date that’s pulling in from our origination

date and then it’s going to be taking the

year from it the month

and we’ve got the day over here and so

what it’s going to be doing is going to

be taking this month from our previous

row and adding one to it. So that’s

what’s happening here. What you might

want to do is put in your payment date

as far as your first payment date right

here. That might help you kind of figure out

when this payment is due. We’ve got the

beginning balance.

It is a cell reference to C7 which is

our original loan amount

and then we start getting into the formulas.

Your total payment amount is going to be

your principal plus your interest and so

that is just adding up these two cells

for column E and column F.

Then the principal amount. So we have a

negative before our formula and it’s PPMT.

The reason we have a negative is so

that when it calculates it it’ll

bring it in as a negative. If you don’t

have this negative here and so if we remove this negative

these payment principal amounts will show as

negative and we kind of really just

visually don’t want that. We want just

more of a visual something that looks

better visually. So we’ll just leave that

in there. Let me double click that again, get back

into it. And so we have a dollar sign and

it’s referencing cell C8 and so that is so it doesn’t change as

you drag the formula down.

We have C8 which is the annual interest rate.

If I click here you can see in excel it shows you the formula

and it shows you what this actually is referencing.

This is the rate, this formula you want to have the

rate right there and it’s bringing in C8.

And ours is 3.75%

per annual so that’s per year and we’re

going to divide that by 12.

So that we get the monthly interest rate

and then this next one is the period and so it’s referencing

column A row 16 and it’s the first period.

And then this nper is right here

and this is going to be the total number

of periods that you have in your loan

and it’s referencing C9.

So C9 is 15 years times C10 the number of payments per

year and so that gives you the total number

of periods for your loan amount.

And then we have the present value which

is C7 of the loan which is the 250,000

amount that we have there

and then we have zero in the last to

close out the formula for future value which is zero.

Moving on we have the interest

and let’s look into this one as well. So

much like the previous formula for the

principle we have a negative

here to start it out and it’s IPMT for interest.

The other one was PPMT for principal

So IPMT. And we’ll just walk through this again.

It’s bringing in our rate and dividing by 12.

So it’s referencing C8 and again we have

dollar signs there so it doesn’t change which cell it’s

referencing as you drag your formula down.

And then the next one is A16 which is our

period. It’s also referencing this cell here for A16.

And then we have the total number of periods which is

just like our other formula.

It’s C9 which is 15 times C10 which is 12

and that’ll give us our total number periods.

And then for the present value it is also referencing

C7 and then the future value is zero

because hopefully you follow through and

actually make your payments and your

loan balance goes to zero.

So that would give us our interest

and I’ll come back to this extra

principle column but right now that’ll

give us our ending balance for this

first period and our ending balance is

just a formula. Going down it’s taking

our beginning balance,

it’s taking how much you paid in principle

and any extra principle you might have

paid and giving you your ending balance.

Let’s say on a month you have some extra

money and you want to send a payment in

you can just type in how much you’re sending in

and it’ll take into account how much extra you’re

sending in and it’ll reduce that ending balance.

So let’s say you receive an inheritance of a hundred

thousand dollars and you’re like you

know what I’m gonna send that to pay off my loan

balance and I don’t want to keep that in my bank.

Well you can just send that in,

put that in here and you can see how

that affects your loan payoff because as you go down

your loan payoff is going to be before

the end of your loan amount.

So if we look

here on period 119 we’ve got the date of when that is

and we also know that your last payment

is going to be 729 dollars and three cents.

And after that it’s going to be paid off.

Let’s go back up to the top.

Let’s remove these extra payments.

One thing I have over here that you

might like as well is whenever I have a loan payoff schedule

I like to know how old I’m going to be on these particular dates.

It’s like yeah you might already have an

idea but it’s nice to see how old you might be

and so you can type in your birth date right here.

This formula right here is going to take

your birthday and calculate how old

you’re going to be on this date.

And you can do that for your whole family.

Put them all in and kind of have

fun with it and that way as you scroll

down you’ll know how old you’ll be. So

one way to check that you have

everything inputted correctly is you can do some totals.

If you highlight a column, if you look down here

it gives you a sum.

That’s how much principle you’ve paid

off which happens to be our beginning loan amount.

If i highlight the interest column you

can see how much you’re paying interest.

So if we look on row two

right now we have this beginning balance.

It is actually just a cell reference

going to our ending balance and it’s

bringing that forward. So that we have a

new row of beginning what your payments

are going to be and

your ending balance.

And if I just kind of click down you can

see the cell reference up here in the formula bar.

It’s just updating to the new

ending balance from the previous row.

Then once you get those inputted you can

drag these down these formulas

and it’ll automatically update. So there’s a little

square over here in the corner if you put your mouse

cursor right on it and click that and then drag down

you can fill in all the rows that you want to fill in to

complete your schedule.

All right thank you for joining me on

this quick tutorial on how to build your

own amortization schedule in Excel and I

hope you enjoyed it and learned something new today.

If you made it this far in the video thank you so much I

appreciate it. If you would hit that

I will see you next time.

Joe Biden’s 1040 Tax Returns 1998 to 2020 | How Much Does Joe Biden Make? https://dugginmoney.com/2022/01/07/joe-bidens-1040-tax-returns-1998-to-2020-how-much-does-joe-biden-make/ Fri, 07 Jan 2022 15:53:49 +0000 https://dugginmoney.com/?p=91

Google Doc Spreadsheet of Joe Biden’s 1040 Data from 1998 to 2020.

YouTube Video Transcript

From 1998 to 2020 Joe Biden has released his income tax returns each and every year. Let’s go take a look at them. Here we go.

Hey and welcome to the channel my name is Duggin and I love talking about anything money related because I’m a Certified Public Accountant. And one of the things that you do as a Certified Public Accountant is look at people’s tax returns but most people don’t want you to look at their tax returns or show it to other people but when you are the President of the United States you freely show your tax returns to the public and that’s what we’re going to do today with Joe Biden.

So from 1998 to 2007 Joe Biden was a U.S. Senator and his wife is a teacher. And that is what you will see as the occupation on the 1040 return. From 2008 to 2017 he becomes the Vice President and she remains a teacher. In 2018 and 2019 he is just an Executive. That is his time in between being Vice President and President. Then in 2020 he is President and she is first lady.

His name on the 1040 is Joseph R. Biden. Hers is Jill T. Biden and they are married filing jointly. And they each year have done the three dollar Presidential Election Campaign. From 1998 to 2003 they had a dependent of their daughter Ashley Biden.

On a 1040 it’s going to include in their wages his and her income and so their wages are going to be combined total. It isn’t until 2002 until we receive a wages statement that breaks up their income between his and hers. So on your 1040 there’s a difference between your wages and what you’re reporting as what you’re making versus what’s also your AGI your Adjusted Gross Income. So the AGI versus the wages kind of gives you more of a full picture before you start taking into account taxes and how much they owe.

So let’s break this up between the different years and let’s go by wages first and then we can go into different incomes that they had. So in 1998 they had a combined wages of 201 thousand dollars. So let’s jump forward each year 1999 206 thousand dollars. Year two thousand two hundred and sixteen thousand. Two thousand one two hundred and twenty thousand dollars. Two thousand two is two hundred and twenty seven thousand dollars and that is where we have our first breakout and that way you can see how much he’s making as a U.S. Senator. So their wages breakout is State of Delaware is 58,000. Widener University is 21,000 and the U.S. State Senate is 147,000.

Their incomes kind of gradually go up over the years. The next difference is when he becomes a Vice President and 2008 is his first year to actually file for that and he gets paid by the U.S. State Senate still. So that’s who shows up as the employer and he made 165,000 his first year as Vice President and that year they had a total wages of 253,866 dollars.

Jumping ahead to 2016 that was his last full year as Vice President and he made 224 thousand six hundred and eighty six dollars. Their combined wages that year was three hundred and fifteen thousand two hundred and six.

So in 2017 is one of their bigger years where they make more from their AGI than they do on their wages because there’s a lot of income coming in on their Schedule E and so we’ll get into that in a second but continuing on with their wages. In 2017 they have 720,000 in 2018 they have 1 million, just over 1 million, and then 2019 it drops back down to 517,000 and then 2020 212,000. So over the years from 1998 to 2016 their income gradually increases from the low 200s to the low 400s and it’s in 2017 when he leaves the Vice Presidency that they actually have a lot of their income coming in from their speaking engagements and their book income. He had a book deal and the majority of that is 10 million dollars. In 2017 it brings up their AGI to 11 million. So it goes from the low 400s to 11 million in one year and then in 2018 it drops down it goes to about 4.5 million then in 2019 it drops a lot more they’re at 985,000 and then 2020 607,000.

So from 1998 to 2016 their standard deduction or itemized deductions range from anywhere from 48,000 to 69,000 with an average of about 57,000. It’s not until 2017 that their itemized deductions jumped to 1.4 million. In 2018 it drops a lot to 314,000 in 2019 40,000 fifty six thousand. So looking at their itemized deductions you might think well what was it that happened in 2017 that was so significant. Well, the majority of that is coming from a million dollar over a million dollars in gifts that they did and you might think well they are super generous.

Well, over the years I tracked how much they gave in gifts and the percentage that it is of their AGI. As a percentage of their AGI in 2017, yes, that was very significant. It was 9.19 percent. If you look at what they gave over the rest of the years it’s not quite as impressive. I would say maybe they didn’t track all the gifts that they made during those years but I would say that that’s not correct. They would make any type of gifts to charity as an itemized deduction over the years and so we can look back and back in 1998 their percentage of giving of their AGI is point zero nine percent. Nineteen ninety nine point zero six percent and as the years keep going by point one six, point one six, point one one, point one one, point one six, point one two, point one five, point three one, point seven zero. Oh, it’s going up. In 2009 it is 1.45 and then it keeps going. 1.41, 1.46, 1.87, they had a big jump in 2013. It says 15,300 was given to the USO United Service Organizations. 2014 these were years when he’s Vice President as well 1.9 percent, 1.76, 1.49 and so it isn’t until they actually receive a lot of money that they actually gave a big portion of that. And there’s a breakout as well as you if you want to see what that one million dollars went to and which charities received it. Continuing 2018 6.02 percent and then it drops back down 2019 1.49 percent and then 2020 5.06.

So now that we’ve reviewed the income we can take a look at the taxes that they actually paid. So from 1998 to 2016 again the range of taxes that they paid goes from 35,000 all the way up to 93,000. It isn’t until 2017 when they had that major spike in income that their taxes went up significantly. So it went to 3.7 million dollars in taxes that they owed and so when they filed their return that year they actually owed 3.5. So they had paid in 191,000 already and owed a check to the government of 3.5 million. The years after that 2018 they owed 1.5 in tax and then it dropped significantly in 2019 they owed 299,000 and then 2020 157,000.

So to get a sum of how much they’ve made and paid in taxes over all these years from 1998 to 2020 we have 7.4 million in wages. We have 13.7 million in Schedule E income which includes their speaking engagements and their book deals. Their total AGI for all those years is 22.9 million dollars. Their total tax is 6.9 million dollars and their gifts to charity is 1.4 million dollars which is a giving percentage of AGI of 6.11.

I appreciate you watching this video on this quick recap of his income from 1998 to 2020 and going forward I would like to take more time to delve into each one of these and so I’ll be going through year by year and uploading a separate video for each one of those so you can see in detail more of what is happening and you can look through the actual forms with me.

So if you want to see all the data coming out of their tax returns you can download the spreadsheet for free from my website at DugginMoney.com.

hola and welcome to my channel my name is Duggin and i’m a certified public accountant and i love to talk about money and anything related to it so i wanted to introduce you to myself and show you what i’ve gotten around my house is either free or super cheap off of either craigslist facebook marketplace or gov deals so let’s get right into it here we go [Music] let’s take a look at some of the stuff that i found off either craigslist facebook marketplace or gov deals first one here is my ford f-150 it is just a single cab with a little bit extra space in the back of the cab and nothing special it’s pretty much stock like there’s nothing that is extra on it the windows are manual there’s no power locks it’s a the stick shift and we’re just gonna keep on going all right next thing is a trailer that i got from my dad him and his friend who is a welder they built it probably in the early 80s and when i got it from my dad it was the color of rust the there was paint chips everywhere and so i had to redo the paint redo the boards i had to take up all the old boards that were rotted i put down new bolts going down through to the frame and redid the lights put some new ones on here and the tires were dry rotted and i put new tires on it actually they were new to me i went to a shop that takes uh tires that are still in good condition but might have something wrong with them like a hole and they’ll plug the hole and that’s where i got those um the trailer i paid 250 for it and all the other parts that i put into it uh probably another hundred dollars and so i got a trailer for 350 dollars let’s go around to the back of the house a lot of times when i am on craigslist i am in the free section and usually i don’t have anything in mind or in particular that i’m looking for but i’ll end up seeing something and it’s like oh we need that or someone in my family wants that or it might be a good gift and a lot of times you find something that’s someone just doesn’t want anymore they need to get it either out of the house out of their car or out of their yard and i found this playset for free and it was in pretty bad condition as far as just the condition of the wood but everything was still good on it the slide was good the only thing that we’ve replaced a few parts on are like this handle this is a new handle but all the wood is original and when we got it i just pressure washed it and that was three years ago and the my kids have loved it and they’ve just had a good old time and even this sand as someone had extra bags of sand that i went and picked out as well at a different listing so this whole thing in order to even move it uh i unbolted this a-frame section on this end and this board unbolted it from the main part of the playset and that would just lift off and i put my truck in my trailer that i just showed you just up beside it pulled it up beside it and tilted this on top of the trailer that trailer so small it can’t actually hold it and so it was sitting on top of the sidewalls of the trailer and i just strapped it on and i believe this board here also uh came off we were able to unscrew it and just put this in the trailer as well and i got it myself so there’s things you can do that is free or cheap that doesn’t really cost you a whole bunch but sometimes it’s good to just go out and get something that might be new like we ended up getting this little trampoline swing set new because new it was just a little over a hundred dollars and trying to find one that’s still in good condition might be hard because we’ve had that one for about four years now so let’s go to the front yard so that playset we got it three years ago two years ago i saw another one that was for free and it was probably about an hour and a half away from us so there was kind of a big question on if we even wanted to get it but it was humongous like the pictures i knew it was going to be big so i had to get my dad to come help me and just in comparison from the other one this one uh when i first walked up to it i thought we’re not going to be able to get this because it might look small from far off but when you actually walk up to it the swings like i can’t even reach the top part of the swing set and it’s a like a two-tier uh playset where it’s got a little lower section with a ladder coming up into a platform and then it goes up to where that platform up there has the slot even on this side it’s got a rock wall as well which is a lot bigger than the one in the backyard it’s about my height and we got this two years ago and we love that it even had a slide which either later in this video or the next video i’m going to clean this up since we’ve had this for two years it’s been underneath these trees and some of these trees are a black walnut and as you can see it just gets filthy the inside of the slide is not bad though it’s it stays clean and it has a cool little picnic table and so when we were actually getting it [Music] my dad had a more of a flatbed trailer that was a 16-footer that trailer over there i believe is eight feet and only four and a half five feet wide and so it’s hard to get too much in that but i took that down there we got some of it in there but most of it was in one trip we put this on his 16 foot trailer and his truck bed my truck bed and a small trailer one thing we had to do was get some new canopy on some of it because that actually doesn’t last as long as the playset itself it’ll start wearing out in a few years where they’ll get holes in it [Music] just the plastic material will wear out and so free and if you went to go buy a playset like this this playset would be in the thousands of dollars the brand is a rainbow place systems incorporated um i’ve seen a few of those listed before and the amount of effort it took to get this i really wouldn’t want to do it again uh glad we did it the first time glad we got it here but uh it was a lot of work and so even though it was free it was still a lot of work and the people who were getting rid of it were glad to just get it out of their yard we were glad to get it because once again kids love it it’s got four swings and then they have this really cool air pogo it has a spring inside this pvc pipe and it’s capped off at the top there’s a rope that is tied up at the top and so that little seat they can sit on that or stand on it and it goes up and down and we’ve i’ve never even seen one of those before but it’s still in great condition as well uh the other thing around our house that i’ve gotten for free are these wood chips that i’ve got at both playsets um it was i think it was just one truckload of wood chips from the tree company that was going around our neighborhoods and clearing up all the trees from the power lines they were going to be going through installing fiber in our neighborhood and the neighborhood across from us and so they had a tree company going through and clearing everything out and chipping up all the limbs that they were clearing out and so early one morning i was out for a walk it was about 6 a.m in the morning and i saw one of the trucks for the crew driving by i had a couple of guys in it and i waved them down and asked them if they had any wood chips uh coming up that day and they said yeah they’re gonna have several truckloads and at first i thought i’m gonna get at least two truckloads and so when he brought it in he put it right in front of the plate set about right there and it was taller than i am and it was so many wood chips that it i really didn’t know what i was going to do with it all and so i had to ask him just leave it at one truckload but it starts to wear out like this was one year ago and even though it’s still here it’s starting to when they first bring it it has wood chips and leaves in it and so it’s really light and fluffy when they first dump it out but over the course of the year it it flattens out and gets really matted and so it does a really great job as a playset material but as you can see like it’s really matted down and it doesn’t get washed away and in our front yard that is was something i was worried about because we have a creek it’s a dry creek meaning whenever it rains it fills up and it’s flowing and we just recently had a lot of rain and it’ll be rushing but once it actually kind of continues on and stops for a while stops raining for a while it’ll it’ll just dry up but it came up it comes up in the slow section here of our creek and there’s a little tree line right here that it’ll come up to and as you can see these wood chips are still here it’s been really good and one of the last things that i have outside is this hammock it was at a store that is near us that does a a almost like a countdown of every week the merchandise will get marked off another 10 and if you dig through their store sometimes you can find things in their store that are 90 off and i got that for 90 off ended up paying Hey and welcome to the Duggin Money channel. I am Duggin I am a certified public accountant and I love talking about anything money related and today we are going to be unboxing a new camera I just got the Osmo action is a DJI brand of camera. It is very similar to the GoPro and so we’re going to get right into that here we go alright so this is the box it came in it is actually a pretty large box but it had a larger bag for accessories that came with it and I bought it off of eBay from a shop called Adorama. I think I’ve bought something from them before they do a lot of cameras and accessories like that the the price was a hundred and ninety nine dollars which included the camera, a memory card and the all the accessories and they had a really nice breakdown because they didn’t just say the accessories were free like there’s the camera for 163 dollars the memory card for 12 and then the accessory kit for 24. So I thought that was a pretty neat breakout before we get into the camera.

There’s the memory card it was a 64 gigabyte Lexar card which is nice we’ll probably open up this in a second but this is the battery case that came with it I suppose if you had an extra battery you’d probably use this more often but it only came with one battery and you can also put the memory card inside of it so that’s a good carrying case the outside of it looks like this nice little box. See if we can do this one-handed.

So I saw a great video of a guy reviewing this Osmo action compared to a Gopro and it was that video was one of the reasons I bought this instead of the Gopro because he was comparing it to the Gopro 9 and talking about how the Gopro 9 was having a lot of a lot of glitches with the touch screen where there would be a delay in the response.

So here’s the front. So one of the warnings on the lens there was it says to tighten the lens jacket before swimming and so this lens jacket is helps make it waterproof. Over here there’s a button that says QS and that says to switch modes. Switch screens into exit on the top there’s a display power button and then the red button is actually the shutter button.

So we can have where the accessories get on the bottom here. All right, so I popped it out of the the case and there’s it without the case on. It’s actually quite small which is good.

This box here has some of the accessories that come with the camera which is some mounting brackets, there’s two of them one looks like this where it has more of a curve to it and then it’s got the the adhesive on one side and then there’s one more of a circle disc like that and then there’s the screw connector for for the bases.

So if you bought this camera, just the camera itself directly from DJI this is what you would get in the package. The little battery carrying case. The battery is already inside the camera. This is the Froggy brand of accessory kit. This also fits the Gopro camera so it can be interchanged between either. I’m not going to get into each one of these I’m just going to try to open it up and kind of give you an idea of what’s in there.

Just in the top sleeve over here we have what looks like one that you would take swimming with you so it looks like it’ll actually float in the water. There’s a a tripod hand grip where each one of these is actually flexible and there’s different mounting brackets. One has like a curved arm and obviously that i haven’t even gotten into most of these I don’t even know what most of them do but there’s one that has like a little sliding clip on it with the strap. I believe this is the chest strap to wear on your chest. Then I think this is the one for a head mount. This was more of just a strong clamp style with some teeth on it and different adhesive. Here’s one for your windshield, has a little suction cup and a little arm that can be adjusted up and down and left and right. This one looks more like a a lanyard with a sticky grip on it

There you go. I took all the screen protectors off and we are going to boot this up for the first time. Okay it comes to some selections here. I might have to put my hand over here just like that. Next screen is this. Skip. Today’s date, there’s a date screen. Time, all right. Tap switch mode, video, photo, custom.

Nice all right so one of the things I didn’t figure out when I was first looking at it was how to switch it from the screen on the back to where the screen on the front. It will start showing your video and what you do is this button here is you hard press it so if you hold it down you can see that little icon and then it’s on the front. So that was pretty easy and if you switch it back it goes back. There you go.

So digging through the accessories I’ve I found the the tripod, a little handheld tripod and I found the attachment that you can attach the tripod to the camera. Actually it was really tight getting that to fit. To get it to go in there. I don’t know if Gopro would fit easier or not but this one for Osmo was pretty tight and there’s a screw action that actually has a screw and attaches between the two. So it’s pretty cool and these legs are all bendable so you can adjust them as needed. It has a voice control feature where the command list kind of gives you the list of things you can say to your camera. Here’s the start recording, stop recording, take photo, screen switch, and shut down.

All right this is the first video I’m taking and the first thing I notice is that there is a lag from me talking and versus what I am seeing on the this screen that is facing me on the camera. Maybe, that is kind of disorienting. I don’t know if that’s gonna always be like that. There’s a setting that is a rock steady setting. I think it’s for when you’re actually holding the camera and you’re walking like on a trail it’ll help smooth out the action and that might be slowing it down as well but right now I still have it on that tripod and just holding it but with the rock steady action I think it kind of makes the movement really really smooth rather than choppy. Looking at it the screen on the front is not a touch screen it is just for your for visual. If you want to actually change any of the settings or the options you got to flip it back to the screen on the back and then you can start doing the touch screen. Okay, I turned that rock steady setting off and the lag is pretty much gone from me talking right now and what I’m seeing on the screen. So that’s pretty cool.

This is going to be fun to play with and mess around doing different types of video shots and I hope to bring you more videos like this so be sure to like and subscribe. And this channel is starting out and I’d love it for you to send me a comment or suggestion of what you’d like to see in the future. Thanks, see you.

All right we are cutting down my Jerusalem Artichokes. I’ve got them at the barn so they’re here at the corner kind of growing up and we are done with the season. What they do is they grow to about six to seven feet tall and then at the end they have tiny little sunflowers and all the stalks at the end of the season need to be just kind of cut away and we take them to a burn pile.

So one of the things I wanted to talk about is you need to stop what you’re doing right now yeah and go open up a Bittrex crypto account. That is one of my crypto accounts that I have it is b i t t r e x and one of the reasons you need a Bittrex account rather than Coinbase or Binance is because you are probably one of the people in your life that other people listen to about crypto and that means once you start talking about it they’re gonna go open up an account at wherever you have an account app.

Bittrex right now is a 10 percent referral commission and it is not a referral commission on the first time that someone goes there and opens the account from your link it is a lifetime 10 percent commission on every transaction. So every time that the person you refer does a transaction in their account you get 10 percent of that transaction commssion.

So no matter what you’re doing right now you need to stop and go open up that account and guess what, I have a referral link down in the description. So go follow that and I probably by now even have a video on how to do it and i’ll probably post that at the end of this video but you cannot say that that is not worth every bit of your time right now is going and opening up that account. I hope this helps you and I’m going to have more tips and tricks like this in crypto and finance and money so follow me, Duggin Money… here we go!

Top 6 Crypto Referral Bonuses + Holiday Bonus https://dugginmoney.com/2021/12/31/top-6-crypto-referral-bonuses-holiday-bonus/ Fri, 31 Dec 2021 19:41:43 +0000 https://dugginmoney.com/?p=54

YouTube Video Transcript

Let’s look at the top crypto platforms that have a referral bonus.

Here we go, number one, Binance. Binance.us if you live in the United States Binance.com if you live in other countries. Binance offers a 20% commission referral and the interesting part about this is you can split this with your referrals. You can adjust that twenty percent down to five percent, ten percent and split that difference with the people you refer and that might give them more incentive to sign up with you. If you have over 500 Binance coins, token is BNB, if you have more than 500 then you can get up to 40 percent commission. If you have 500 you’re probably “Winning” and if you fall into that category you can split that 40 percent 20 20 with your referrals and that would give you incentive to keep that coin of BNB. So once your referral successfully creates the Binance account and starts trading the commissions are paid out every hour and so there’s no waiting at all for your referral commission to come in.

Number two: Coinbase. On Coinbase you can earn ten dollars and the referral earns ten dollars when they sign up successfully. Coinbase is also offering a million dollar holiday bonus payout for each person that you refer you get one share of that million dollars and the total number of shares is just based on the total number of people that sign up. In addition to that you also get the normal payout of the referral so that is definitely just a bonus incentive and it’s on top of the normal referral.

Number three is Kraken they offer 20 percent up to $1,000 per referral. The hard part with them is there’s more stipulations on actually getting to be a included in the referral program. If you’re a social media influencer you have to have at least 5,000 followers. If you have a website there’s no follower requirement but you need to be finance or crypto related. If you’re just a Facebook group you need 5,000 followers and the content has to be finance or crypto related

Bitstamp.net they offer you twenty dollars for you and twenty dollars for your referral for every successful sign up but there’s a cap, not on the number of people you can refer but on the total payout. If the total payout reaches five hundred dollars for a calendar a year you’re done, any referrals that come in after that you just don’t receive any bonus.

Bittrex offers a 10 percent referral. The good thing about this one is there’s no cap and so it’s for the life of your referral and that probably is one of the higher payouts I’ve seen since there is no cap.

Crypto.com they have one but it’s a little more complicated. If you refer someone the person you refer has to stake their coin which is CRO c-r-o once they do that you get a bonus based on how much CRO that they stake. If they staked one thousand CRO coin then you get one percent of that which is ten dollars and it kind of goes up. They have a different little scale I’m going to include that right here so you can see that it kind of goes up. So if you do five thousand you get fifty dollars ten thousand get a hundred dollars but then it kind of starts dropping off on the percentage. Then you get fifty percent of their trading fees for that first 12 months so that’s pretty cool to have two different bonus structures. It’s kind of not as good as some of the others since there is a limitation to just one year. Also the people you refer they have to go through the extra step of being verified so make sure that they know what to do and how to do it and you probably have to explain that to them when you do refer them.

That’s it for today. There’s going to be more of those included in the description go check that out and the ones I did mention in the video they’re going to have a referral link be sure to click that and get started today.

2021 Southwest Bonus Points Revealed & Where To Find Monthly Bonus Detail | Chase Credit Card https://dugginmoney.com/2021/12/31/2021-southwest-bonus-points-revealed-where-to-find-monthly-bonus-detail-chase-credit-card/ Fri, 31 Dec 2021 19:13:37 +0000 https://dugginmoney.com/?p=51

YouTube Video Transcript

So it is currently December 2021 and back in January I signed up for the Southwest Rapid Rewards program and since then I have accumulated 124,000 points. Just a little bit over and 50,000 came from the initial sign up bonus and then another 30,000 came from meeting a threshold of spending so much within the first three months and after that is where the remainder come from.

I was looking through their website and I was like where can I find maybe like how much I’ve earned per month if you go into your account and look there’s a section on the right hand side that shows you the amount of rewards you currently have and this is where I’ve got the amount of 124,181 and if you look right below that number there’s a Rapid Rewards points with an arrow. If you click that it’ll take you off of your current page going to the Southwest website. I was like that’s not what I want and if you go right below it you’ll see the See More Details and Redeem. That might have something I want to look at and so i clicked on it and i was like yeah this, I’ve seen this before. This has details of how to earn your points. It has the rewards program details and it kind of lists out how many points you get for each dollar spent on Southwest purchases, hotels, car rentals and other items like that and how many points you get on your anniversary depending on which card you actually have. Different cards have different amount of points that they give you on your anniversary and one of the reasons they actually give you those points is because there’s a a fee associated with actually having the card. Then if you look it kind of gives you more of the benefit.

Sounds like none of this is what I’m looking for but then I looked over here and there was a see rewards history I was like that that’s exactly what I’m looking for and here it was. It breaks it up by the different points you earn and gives you a total for the month and so you can go month by month and see what you’ve gotten.

So I signed up for this card in January they processed it in February and so it goes back to March as far as being the first statement that you can look at. So if we go back and look through this past year back in March we can see that I earned 3,036 points. There’s a few months where I actually did earn some points that gave me 2x but here in the first month it shows you the new card member bonus and there’s the 50,000 points that i got and gives you a total so I had 53,000. If we jump over to April it shows that we got 4,508 points. These are just earned on purchases that didn’t qualify for additional points. If we look at May of 2021 we got 6,592 and by this point it shows you the new card member bonus this 30,000 points is the points you earn when you actually spend that threshold within the first three months and so that gives us for this month a total of thirty six thousand five hundred ninety two. We look at June we got five thousand one hundred and twenty one. July six thousand one hundred and forty six. August three thousand two hundred and ten. In September we got four thousand two hundred and sixty one and October we got 4,736. If you look month by month it is breaking up in more detail as the months go by and I’m not sure why that’s doing that. Maybe they’re getting better on their reporting the points and then November we got 5,274 for our normal purchases and then 57 for two times points for select streaming. We had the same services throughout all these months and so I don’t know if that’s just a feature that they added within this time period that gave us these extra bonus points but the total was 5,331.

So that takes us through 2021 and what we’ve gotten so far. If you want to keep going along with this journey with me and just kind of seeing how many points we’re getting and what we’re going to do with it we have a trip coming up where we’re actually going to use these points and fly out to Arizona and take a family trip and go see family. So that’ll be fun and we’ll actually get to go through that process of taking these points and using them and you can watch us as we do that.

So if you’re interested in doing this yourself there is a way to sign up. I’ve got a link in the description below and if you also want to get some bonus points additional to your initial sign up they do have a way where you when you refer people Southwest are doubling the amount of points that they are giving for each referral from 10,000 points to 20,000 points. So you too can get it, I think it goes through 2022 of June so you need to get on that if you actually want to earn any of those additional bonus points.

So if you want to sign up there are four different cards you can sign up for for the Southwest card. There’s the priority credit card, the premier credit card, the plus credit card and then the business credit card. I believe we signed up for the premiere and that is where we got the total of 80 000 bonus points last year.

Thank you so much for going through this with us. We are going to be going through more things like this going forward. I am a certified public accountant and I love talking about anything money related. Thanks so much for making it this far in the video. If you enjoyed it please hit that subscribe button and the thumbs up as well and I will see you next time.

Best part of being a reseller https://dugginmoney.com/2021/12/31/best-part-of-being-a-reseller/ Fri, 31 Dec 2021 16:08:04 +0000 https://dugginmoney.com/?p=42

YouTube Video Transcript

The best thing about being a reseller is testing the toys before you sell them. Today I’m testing a Redcat Sandstorm RC Buggy I bought this from the goodwill bins for a dollar nine per pound and the good thing about it is it came with a battery, the controller and everything it needed to operate. Today we’re going to be driving this around and seeing what it can do.

If you’re new to the channel, welcome, my name is Duggin and I am a Certified Public Accountant and I love talking about anything money related which includes doing side hustles and this is one of them reselling items that I find at Goodwill, Goodwill Bins and other thrift stores.

I currently have this listed on eBay for $119.99 plus shipping. The battery is a 2000 mah 7.2 volt and it might be original to the actual car because even when I charge it up for the recommended amount of time it it runs for about 15-20 minutes which if you bought one new you’d probably want it to run a lot longer than that so the price tag on a used one of these is not going to be as high as what it would be if you were selling something that was just maybe a year old.

People love to modify these RC cars. They can change out the batteries. They can change out the radio controls in it. They can change out their motors and they can be either two-wheel or four-wheel drive. Change out the tires, even the covers and a lot of times they’ll be making big jumps with these cars and they’ll wreck everything and have to replace parts on it so it’s rare to see one that’s complete on eBay. When this battery is fully charged it is a lot of fun. Very quick and it’s very responsive. A lot of times you can put it in reverse before it’s even slowed down to a stop so you can make really quick turns and stop and do some good maneuvering.

It’s rare for someone to just submit an offer for full price. I originally sold another unit that didn’t have a top cover for it and the remote control battery compartment had been corroded and so I wasn’t able to test it. It did power on when i plugged in this battery to it and so someone probably got a pretty good unit. I’ll leave a link to my eBay page down in the description if you want to check this one out or any other items that’d be great and if you happen to buy anything be sure to send me a message I’d love to hear from you and the fact that you found me on the YouTube channel.

I want to end this video by driving off-road through the grass and trees over here in the corner and if you found this video entertaining at all be sure to hit that subscribe button and the thumbs up and I’ll see you next time.
